1. The service

StopBotSpam provides a human-verification challenge for website forms, powered by the RHF-LockMatch challenge engine. It is designed to reduce automated form spam: the bulk bot submissions that flood unprotected contact forms.

2. Our honest statement: what StopBotSpam does and does not do

What it does: StopBotSpam presents a verification challenge that blocks the vast majority of automated bulk spam. Most customers see their unwanted submissions drop to near zero within a day of installing it.

What it does not do: No verification system is unbreakable, and ours is no exception. A determined attacker can bypass client-side verification: a developer can read the code and work around it, a targeted script can simulate the challenge, and human operators are never blocked by any automated check. Our front-end plans reduce spam; they do not eliminate every kind of it. Our plans with server-side verification provide stronger protection, and even those cannot promise perfection.

Our promise: we will never oversell what the product does. We are here to help you reduce the spam you are getting today, honestly and measurably.

3. Plans and billing

Overage is billed at $1.50 per 1,000 verifications beyond your quota. We warn you at 80% and 100% of quota. You may cancel any time; annual plans are refunded pro-rata within the first 30 days.

4. Acceptable use

You may use StopBotSpam on websites you own or are authorized to manage. You may not resell the service, reverse-engineer the challenge engine to build a competing product, or use it to facilitate spam.

5. Uptime

We target 99.9% monthly uptime on paid plans. If the verification service is unreachable, your forms continue to work: the challenge fails open so your visitors are never blocked by our outage.

6. Limitation of liability

StopBotSpam is provided "as is." We are not liable for spam that gets through, for business lost to missed messages, or for any indirect damages. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; the new version takes effect 30 days after posting here. Continued use means you accept the changes.
